Announcement of Revision of Policies and Establishment of Procedures
to Build a Sustainable Supply Chain

 

With the aim of building a sustainable supply chain, Nichirei Corporation has revised relevant Group policies and established guidelines for suppliers and other procedures in accordance with the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, and other instruments. We will do business under the new policies from April 1, 2022.

 

These measures for “realizing sustainable food procurement and resource recycling,” which is a material matter identified by Nichirei, are based on The Nichirei Pledge, the Nichirei Group Sustainability Policy that was announced today. We aim to realize a sustainable supply chain by sharing our values and building close cooperative relationships with our suppliers as well as within the Nichirei Group.
