The Nichirei Group has created and distributed a Code of Conduct and examples of Code of Conduct application to ensure that all of our employees behave in accordance with our articles of incorporation, applicable laws, and corporate ethics. In addition, in order to more strongly inculcate the ideas and mechanisms underlying compliance management, we conduct compliance training sessions for regular employees.

The Nichirei Group has prepared a framework for complying with the Personal Information Protection Law, including the establishment of an address for complaints and questions regarding personal information protection. The Group Personal Information Protection Committee works through the CPO (chief privacy officer) and personal information manager of each operating company to ensure thorough implementation of authorized usage and secure management of personal information. The committee also coordinates protection and management of the entire Group's personal information.
