The Nichirei Group as a whole engages in social contribution activities, based on its Basic Policy on Social Contribution.

The Nichirei Group Basic Policy on Social Contribution We, the members of the Nichirei Group, desire to be a corporate citizen that is widely trusted by society. We aim to contribute to society by carefully selecting ingredients, creating good taste and good health, and by providing safe and efficient logistic services. In addition, we will conduct social contribution activities outside of our fields of business, based on our own integrity, empathy, and sense of mission. Based on this philosophy, we will actively engage in activities that contribute to society, principally in the areas of education related to food and logistics, support for local communities, environmental preservation, disaster relief, and support for sports.
